Just 1.5 years since their debut, the Norwegian pop/rock band Tempo is ready with their fourth single, Eksplosiv. The band from
Trøndelag was started in 2012 and has had great success with the singles Natta Fri, Deilig and YOLO. All of them have received radio play with over 60,000 listeners on different media platforms. “Now we are ready to take it a step further,” says guitarist Daniel Mandal. “Ekplosiv contains dead honest lyrics, a catchy riff, a big chorus and a dreamy vocal line. Musically we might arguably be a cross between Coldplay, A-ha and Dumdum Boys.”
Eksplosiv was recorded in the fall of 2013 with producer Fred Amadeus Zakariassen and is written by vocalist Thomas Løseth and guitarist Daniel Mandal. The single was mastered in the legendary Abbey Road Studios. “Tempo’s plans for the future is to release yet another single. This time a song called Hjertekrig, ”Mandal elaborates. “Four acoustic tracks will then be released some time in the spring- We will also be filming the concert at Strandafestivalen, a festival that Thomas and I organize, in July 2014. So, note the names Tempo and Ekplosiv; they are both here to stay.
