Release date
February 23, 2014
It is less than a year ago since SVK released their last effort, Rogue Waves. Now the album Avernus is in the works, and from this album SVK are releasing the single Tarpeian Rock. Tarpeian Rock is an evocative and intense song, and is a testimony that the band has perfected the expression they gradually developed over the previous two releases. The song was mixed by Gary Bromham, who has worked with, among others, Björk and Sheryl Crow, and mastered by Neil Pickles, who has worked with several Grammy nominated artists. These are two guys with long experience in the industry and a track record most producers envy.
A music video for the single will also be released on YouTube simultaneously with the release of the single. The single also comes with the bonus track, Arrival, which is a leftover, playful and easy experimental track from the recording of the upcoming album, Avernus.
